To save you some effort, and avoid the same questions being asked over again, let me explain.

Firstly, before you ask us how to do things, please have a play with the icons to see what happens.

General
If you want to change the font, add bold, link to another post, website or photo you can get all of these by clicking on the icons above; these -

Highlight the bit you want to be bold, a link etc and click on the button.

Photos
You cannot upload a photo to this board, you have to upload it so somewhere else (your webspace from your ISP - BT, Pipex, Virgin etc - or a photo hosting site - photobucket, imageshack etc. and then use this format .

Hyperlinks (links to other websites)
To put a link, either use this format which will look like this - http://www.bbc.co.uk

or this which is tidyer and looks like this - BBC

Finally, if you have used more complicated formatting, it is worth clicking on the Preview button on the bottom of your post so that you can check it looks OK before you post.

Hope that helps,

John

Edit - I notice that there is now a 'Host' option when you are adding photos, but I haven't had time to try it out and add details here - I will do soon!
