To find out which ratio diff your car has...

Put it in neutral

Jack up one rear wheel

Rotate wheel to put the valve at the bottom (as a reference marker)

Put a chalk or similar mark on the prop shaft to make it easier to count the revs.

Rotate the wheel slowly through 2 full revolutions and count the number of revs the propshaft turns. It will be somewhere between 3 and 4.5 depending on the car.
This is the diff ratio.

The reason for doing 2 revolutions is that when you're on the road both wheels have to go round and we've only jacked one up because if you jack both, the other one will go backwards and the propshaft won't turn at all.

If you want increased accuracy rotate the wheel 10 or 20 revs (or as many as you want) and then calculate the ratio.
